- Vijaya Kumar has over 25 years of experience in Audit and Accountancy in India and UAE.
- Vijaya Kumar (fondly known as Vijay) is a seasoned Indian Chartered Accountant with a wealth of experience gained over more than a decade in the UAE since 2009. He has built a strong career in audit, accountancy, and IT systems, working with some of the most reputable professional firms, including the Big 4. His expertise spans across various aspects of audit and assurance services, where he has managed statutory and other assurance engagements for a diverse range of clients.
- His specialization includes the intersection of auditing and IT, with a particular focus on Information Systems (IS) and IT audits. As a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Vijay has a deep understanding of auditing in IT environments. Notably, during his tenure with a Big 4 firm, he was involved in the concurrent audit of Treasury operations (specifically Fixed Income Securities) for Citibank, ensuring its compliance with relevant regulations.
- In addition to his audit and assurance work, Vijay has played a crucial role as a consultant, helping companies align their accounting systems with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
